| Stardust At the 50th March Meet |

With a major facial sun burn, and a better understanding of the weekend, I thought I would attempt a recap of my California experience.
I won't go into detail of how the flight went, and how excited we were to be on the plane. We will save that for the more grandiose tale tellers.
When we arrived at the track Thursday, the first person outside of the crew I met was Pisano. He walked over and gave me a big hug and welcomed me to Famoso! That made my trip! We serviced the car and walked around looking at all the cars! What an experience that was. I meet my good buddy Robert Reehl, and the one and only Darr Hawthorne!
We were asked by Darr to take the Stardust to Chuy's for a display with the Pisano gang, and AAA of So Cal, hooked us up on a set of flatbeds and off we went to Chuy's! We had a ball, the restaurant was packed with race fans, and Mini Me was busy signing handouts!

Justin Grant, owner of the “Stardust” ’70 Barracuda Nitro Funny Car is running a unique raffle to get his racecar from Indiana to the 50th March Meet at Auto Club Famoso Raceway. He’s selling twenty tickets for $200.00 each, which will include Round-trip airfare to Bakersfield (USA residents only) and free admission to the historic event. The winner of the raffle will then have the opportunity to crew on the famous Don Schumacher replica nitro flopper for the weekend.
Everyone purchasing a ticket will receive an 8x10 handout card autographed by driver Joe Haas and the owner. In addition, every raffle participant will have their name added to the hood burst panel so they can go along for the ride. If Grant fails to sell all twenty tickets, all monies will be returned to the ticket holders.
